A Cycladic island in the centre of the Aegean, between Mykonos and Naxos, with its own airport and a year-round population. Parikia is the ferry port and main town, Naoussa the fishing harbour in the north, and the marble quarries inland gave the island the stone used for the Venus de Milo.

Paros has moved from a quiet second-home island to one of the most traded in the Cyclades over the last decade, and building land near the coast is now tightly controlled. Rental demand runs strongly from June to September and thins quickly outside it.
Getting here
Paros national airport (PAS) takes domestic flights from Athens in about 40 minutes. Fast ferries from Piraeus take roughly three hours, conventional ferries four to five, with frequent connections to Naxos, Mykonos and Santorini.
